Why hasn’t Jaylen Brown signed his supermax extension with the Boston Celtics?

The Boston Celtics have not signed All-NBA forward Jaylen Brown to a supermax contract extension worth as much as $295 million over five years, causing a fair amount of speculation about the holdup in what many believe is a no-brainer deal.

But, there may be minor details for both parties that need to be worked out. Patience is advisable given the stakes. Brown’s agent also has a history of finalizing deals for the players he represents close to the deadline.
