South Korea’s ruling party has vowed to unite against the opposition-led impeachment motion against president Yoon Suk Yeol after his abrupt and widely condemned decree of martial law.

Floor leader Choo Kyung-ho said: “All 108 lawmakers of the People Power Party will stay united to reject the president’s impeachment.”
