Frank Lampard's second spell as Chelsea boss has been touted as a potential second chance for USMNT star Christian Pulisic.
Lampard, 44, was appointed as the club's boss until the end of the season earlier this week, after parting ways with Graham Potter, just 7 months after he took charge at Stamford Bridge.
Tasked with restoring some sort of stability in the side, it is safe to say the Blues are in something of a transition period, with more wholesale changes expected during the summer months.

One player who has struggled for consistency across the last two seasons is winger Pulisic. The 24-year-old has scored just once all season and only started seven games in the Premier League under Potter.
Now, hoping Lampard's return to Stamford Bridge can bring back the form we saw in the 19/20 season, one former USMNT star believes Lampard's appointment can only bring stability to the side.
''What's interesting in this whole thing is the conventional wisdom says you don't fire someone unless you have someone to take over,'' began Alexi Lalas earlier this week. ''I don't know if they did when they fired [Graham] Potter or if Todd Boehly and the leadership over there had a plan.''
''I guess this makes sense, as you have somebody who is a club legend on the field and also off the field, has some sort of rapport with the fans base. He is there and understands how to hit the ground running when coming in and we mentioned with players he has been with or just the whole structure kind of set up there.
''He obviously loves the club and has an affinity for it. As for a short-term situation, if Frank Lampard was the assistant coach no one would have batted an eye and he wasn't but it isn't as crazy as it sounds, as long as come this summer, they get their man or woman who ever it ends up being.
Pulisic started on the bench in Lampard's first game back in charge of Chelsea, but was introduced just after the hour mark. However, he was unable to turn things around, with the Blues losing to a solitary goal from Matheus Nunes.
