Police in Hinsdale, New Hampshire, say 34-year-old Emily Long killed her husband and two children before taking her own life on Monday, 18 August. Their bodies were discovered after relatives raised the alarm when they were unable to reach the family.
The victims were identified as Long, her husband Ryan, 37, and their children aged six and three. Investigators confirmed all four died from gunshot wounds. The state medical examiner ruled the case a murder-suicide.
