Sharing the news with her Instagram followers, Andrea posted a video on route to the studio and told the camera: "Big day today! Guess where I'm going? Okay I'm going to tell you so you don't have to guess.
"I'm going on Loose Women! So excited, so so excited. So that's where we are heading and we will see you later."

In another post, Andrea posed under the Loose Women sign and said:" Hello everyone, no your eyes do not deceive you, it is me back on Loose Women today talking about everything I've been up to since that rather emotional day when I left. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, I can't wait."
Why did Andrea McLean leave Loose Women?
Andrea quit the show in December 2020 after 13 years. She announced her departure in November 2020, explaining at the time: "You get one life. Are you living it the way that you want and are you doing everything that you want to do? Are you taking chances? And I realised, no."
Tearfully, she added: "It was a really, really big decision to jump to see if I fall or fly. And I just thought, 'I will never know unless I try.' So, I'm saying goodbye to Loose Women."
Andrea went on to explain that following the release of her book, This Girl Is on Fire: How to Live, Learn and Thrive in a Life You Love, and the "incredible feedback," she wanted to "bring it to life" and focus on her career as an author and her business.
