Ben Godfrey is set to be registered for Rangers' European tie with Jablonec.
The centre-back, signed on loan from Atalanta in this transfer window, picked up a hamstring injury on his leg debut against Dundee United. He has been missing ever since, but is nearing a return.
Manager Derek McInnes has revealed the centre-back is set to be added to the Euro squad ahead of facing the Czech side in the Conference League play-offs. He is unlikely to be ready for the first leg this Thursday, but should be for the second leg.
McInnes said: "I think Ben will be registered in the European squad as it stands. He might not be fully fit for Thursday, but I think he will certainly be at the second leg as it stands."
Fellow new signing Daisuke Yokota has impressed in some of his early performances but was subbed at half-time during the cup win over St Mirren yesterday.

McInnes explained that was due to the fact he was quite simply "gubbed."
"Daisuke, he was just knackered, just gubbed. Japanese for gubbed, I don't know. He made it clear he was gubbed," he said.
"Findlay came on and did well. He's done well, wee Dai, and he does give us that little bit of imagination at times. He was just tired. He was training on his own for a period.
"Sometimes you get players for a reason, sometimes you get them and they’ve not been training and playing games. James has managed to get a couple of pre-season friendlies in him, so it was a wee bit more straightforward for him. It was good to get Nico 90 minutes, I think psychologically it was good for him, and for us to get him those minutes as well. In terms of a fitness update, I think Ben will probably be the only one. Thelo was suspended for today."
