Why Bukayo Saka cuts holes in his socks after Arsenal star shines against Manchester United

Despite falling to defeat against Manchester United on Sunday, Arsenal still managed to impress with their overall performance, dominating their opponents at Old Trafford. The front line of Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka caused problems, but mistakes elsewhere led to the side being hit on the counter-attack.

It meant a first defeat in the league for the Gunners, though Mikel Arteta picked out plenty of positives to take from the game: "What I saw is a very different Arsenal team that came here and played the way we wanted to play against these world-class players and unfortunately we couldn’t get the result we deserved."

Another positive to take from it was the resurgent form of Saka, who looked problematic for Manchester United newbie Tyrell Malacia at full-back. The England international managed to beat his counterpart on several occasions before scoring a deserved goal for his side.
