Even as the season was ending and Leeds United secured their Premier League status for another season, there was a sense that it would not be enough for the Whites to retain their star attacker, Raphinha. The Brazilian top scored for the club in 2021/22, scoring 11 goals and adding three assists as Leeds narrowly avoided relegation back to the Championship.
Raphinha's form for a relegation battling club was always likely to catch the attention of top end clubs, particularly as the winger has established himself as the starting right winger for the Brazilian national team as well. Barcelona have been the strongest linked but it seems increasingly unlikely that the Catalan club can afford a deal, due to major financial problems at Camp Nou.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich, Liverpool and West Ham are all said to have lodged interest in the past, with Manchester United and Chelsea also admirers of the Leeds winger. Now, it appears Arsenal have added their name to the list of suitors.
