Philippe Clement will be without a number of key Rangers first-team players for the Scottish Premiership match against Celtic.
The Ibrox boss is unable to call upon Jack Butland and James Tavernier for the derby contest at Ibrox this afternoon.
Butland was hospitalised on Hogmanay over an internal bleed before being released with Tavernier injured against Motherwell.
John Souttar and Neraysho Kasanwirjo will also be forced to watch their team-mates in action due to injury.
Leon Balogun has a slim chance of being involved with Clement uncertain of his fitness situation for the January 2 tie.
On Tavernier, Clement said: "We've [lost] Tavernier also who suffered an injury at the end of the [Motherwell] game.
"He could continue but with a scan there is clear damage that he will be out for a few weeks."

A Rangers statement on Wednesday said of Butland: "Rangers can confirm goalkeeper Jack Butland will miss tomorrow’s Old Firm match with Celtic.
"The goalkeeper suffered an internal bleed in his leg which required hospital treatment, but he has since been released and is recovering.
"Everyone at Rangers wishes Jack a speedy recovery."
Clement said of Souttar back in December: "No, John Souttar will be injured for several weeks. He's not in the squad."
"Kasanwirjo is going to have an appointment with a surgeon today, and we will have more news over the weekend - for sure a longer-term injury," Clement said of his other centre-back injury issue.
"A blow for everyone, especially for him. This is football, it is really hard as he was adapting really well."
