Adam Idah was dropped to the bench for Celtic's game against Hibernian in the Scottish Cup yesterday afternoon, and Brendan Rodgers explained exactly why pre-match.
The Irish striker got the nod for his side's 5-2 victory over St Mirren in Paisley, although Jota replaced him in the starting lineup for the visit of David Gray's men to Glasgow's east end over the weekend.
Speaking to BBC Sport Scotland before kick-off, Rodgers explained the alteration: "Well, Jota is still finding his place in the squad and the team and his fitness," he said.

“So for us, it’s something I can rotate and change, and Adam’s always there to bring into the game. Yang’s there who can come into the game, and that’s been the real benefit of the squad this season.
"We’ve got guys that can come in and make the impact. You saw it last week with Luke McCowan and the guys coming in who make a real difference for us."
Idah eventually came on with six minutes to go and sealed Celtic's place in the Scottish Cup semi-finals with a late stoppage-time strike.
Rodgers' three subs - Yang Hyun-jun, Luke McCowan and Idah - all combined for the goal that made it 2-0 in the dying embers.
