Simple Simon lasted less than a minute of his grudge fight against Ed Matthews as the 52-year-old suffered a brutal defeat in his boxing debut
Nineteen-year-old Matthews was the odds-on favourite to win against his older rival and landed a big right hand in the opening seconds. Simon replied with his own punches but left himself open to a big right hand from Matthews.
And Simon was soon knocked down to the canvas as he failed to deal with the younger man's power. And the underdog was unable to pick himself back up and resigned himself to defeat as the referee waved off the bout.
Here is a rundown of the other results from the fight card...
Elle Brooke bt AJ Bunker via unanimous decision
OnlyFans star Elle Brooke ran out a comfortable winner over former Love Island contestant AJ Bunker who had accepted the fight at just two weeks' notice. Brooke won each of the four rounds on the judges scorecards and said: "It frustrates me that I didn't get this knockout, but I just really want a drink. I'm done with these interviews, somebody get me a f****ng cocktail please. You won't call me Brock Lesnar, but maybe I f****ng I am!"
Aaron Hunt bt Chef Dave via TKO
Aaron Hunt had promised a first-round KO against Dave but had to settle for the second session. Dave took a knee after a punch from Hunt which he claimed was to the back of the head. He was deemed fit to continue but Hunt landed a few more punches to force Dave to take a knee for the second time. The referee had seen enough and waved the bout off.
Ginty bt Kayrhys via majority decision
What should have been a shutout decision for Ginty was scored a majority decision with one judge bizarrely scoring the bout 29-29 with the other two scoring it 30-28, 30-27. The pair show respect after the final bell as Ginty said of his win: "I feel good, I'm glad i got the victory and I don't know how one judge scored that a draw. He caught me one or two times but I landed more punches in every round. He landed the harder punches maybe but I feel I landed with more volume."
Dave The Other Guy bt Paddy Murphy via unanimous decision
Dave The Other Guy picked up the win over Paddy Murphy by scores of 30-27, 30-27 and 30-28 after a thrilling heavyweight clash. "I'm f***ing shattered, I need a couple drinks down me now," Dave said. "Look at the crowd man, they did a fantastic job. They spurred me on that last round, full respect to Paddy Murphy because it takes a lot of b****** to get in the ring."
Pully Arif bt Tommy Mulligan via unanimous decision
A very one-sided rematch as Pully Arif eased to victory over Tommy Mulligan by scores of 40-37, 40-36, 40-36. Arfif was quick to show Mulligan respect despite the pair's bad blood heading into the fight but Mulligan will surely regret his tactics after simply walking forward for four rounds.
Dean LM bt Luke Bennett via TKO
Dean LM wasn't supposed to be fighting on this event until he got the short-notice call-up to fight Luke Bennett - and he stopped his rival inside 90 seconds. "All respect to Luke but it was going to be an easy win all day," said the winner. "No offence but it's Luke Bennett. I was just hitting the left hook because I was orthodox and Luke was southpaw, so I utilised the left hook and it obviously worked.
Tempo Arts bt Smithey via unanimous decision
The two big men gave it their all with Temple Arts winning by unanimous decision.
