The Chicago Bears (3-6) will battle the Detroit Lions (2-6) on Sunday, where the Bears are looking to build off another impressive offensive showing behind Justin Fields’ record-setting performance.
Chicago is coming off a 35-32 loss to the Miami Dolphins (6-3), where Fields rushed for 178 yards, the most ever by a quarterback in the regular season. Fields is developing into a star, and he’s giving them a chance to win every week. The Bears have averaged 31.3 points over the last three games, and the arrow is pointed up.
Meanwhile, the Lions are coming off a 15-9 victory over the Green Bay Packers (3-6), which broke Detroit’s five-game losing streak. The defense shut down Aaron Rodgers and a struggling Green Bay offense. Now, they’ll have to defend one of the NFL’s most exciting players in Fields.
The Bears are 3-point home favorite against the Lions, per Tipico Sportsbook. It’s not surprising considering these are two bad teams who are competing for a top-five draft pick.
Will Fields the offense continue their hot streak? Or will the Lions get their first win over Chicago in the last two years?
