The future of Boston Celtics broadcasting is currently in transition with the news of longtime Boston sports broadcaster Mike Gorman calling it a day after the conclusion of the looming Celtics 2023-24 campaign making the rounds in the NBA media sphere in recent weeks.
WEEI’s Sean Grande, known for his work as a Celtics radio commentator for some time as well, is considered a likely potential successor for the TV role Gorman is soon to leave behind. Will he be the next voice of the Celtics, or do the networks who cover Boston’s games have other plans to keep the coverage coming beyond the 2023-23 season?
