Ted Kaczynski, also known as the "Unabomber," whose series of crimes changed the US forever, has died at the age of 81.
Kaczynski, a Harvard-educated mathematician, had secluded himself in a shabby shack located in the wilderness of Montana and carried out a bombing crusade over a span of 17 years.
His crimes resulted in the deaths of three individuals and caused injuries to 23 others.
