We’ve reached No. 25 in our series of the best players to ever wear each jersey number for the Denver Broncos, and we’re facing a tough decision.
Recency bias would suggest Chris Harris is an obvious choice, but older Broncos fans who remember Haven Moses might object to that notion.
Let’s take a quick glance at the resumes of both players.
After spending the first five years of his career with the Buffalo Bills, Moses played in Denver from 1972-1981. A one-time AFL All-Star and one-time Pro Bowler, Moses ranks ninth in franchise history with 5,450 receiving yards and fifth with 44 receiving touchdowns.
Harris played for the Broncos from 2011-2019 before later playing for the Los Angeles Chargers and New Orleans Saints. A four-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro, Harris was a key member of Denver’s famous “No Fly Zone” defense that led the team to a win in Super Bowl 50. He’s tied for 11th place on the team’s all-time interceptions list with 20.
Moses is already a member of the Broncos Ring of Fame, but Harris might one day join him. So, who was the best player to ever wear No. 25 in Denver? Let us know your take by voting in the poll below!
