Who was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars last night?

  • The 35th season premiere of Dancing With the Stars experienced technical glitches on ABC’s website, forcing producers to discard all online votes and rely exclusively on text message voting for the evening.
  • Despite the voting system failure, the planned elimination went ahead, with The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Conner Leavitt and new professional dancer Adele Zaikman being sent home after receiving a low score of 12 out of 30.
  • Grey’s Anatomy actor Harry Shum Jr. and his partner Jenna Johnson topped the leaderboard on the opening night, securing the highest score of the evening with 21 out of 30.
  • Paralympian Ezra Frech and his partner Daniella Karagach delivered one of the standout performances of the night, earning 20 out of 30 for their moving tango to Kelly Clarkson's Since U Been Gone.
  • Co-hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough revealed that total votes doubled compared to last season's premiere despite the glitch, ahead of the female celebrities taking to the ballroom floor on night two.
