We all know former Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat superstar LeBron James was the biggest obstacle to titles during the Banner 17 era of the Boston Celtics, but Hall of Fame forward Paul Pierce was with the Celtics long before Bron was in the NBA.
In fact, one of his biggest opponents on the court became his teammate and co-champion, but for a time was as much of a problem for Pierce and his early rosters with Boston to cope with as Celtics arch-nemesis and Los Angeles Laker superstar Kobe Bryant. We are of course talking about The Big Ticket, Kevin Garnett, during his time with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
But who was a bigger thorn in Paul Pierce’s side as an opponent: KG or Kobe?
