WHO warns Congo’s Ebola outbreak is on track to become deadliest in history

The active Ebola outbreak in Congo is projected to surpass the deadliest on record, which killed more than 11,000 people among over 28,000 cases, the head of the World Health Organization stated Wednesday.

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus informed reporters: "At its current pace, it's on track to eclipse the West African Ebola outbreak of 2014 to 2016."
