Liverpool are currently gearing up for a huge game this weekend as they take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
However, their preparations suffered a huge setback on Sunday afternoon when Thiago Alcantara limped off injured during the 3-1 victory over Wolves at Anfield. The midfielder was again impressive and set up Sadio Mane with a sublime back-heel for the equaliser after Pedro Neto had given the visitors an early lead.
The former Barcelona star appeared to hurt himself in first-half stoppage time as he played a cross-field pass to Trent Alexander-Arnold that went out of play. Thiago walked straight off without being replaced and immediately headed down the tunnel for further assessment.

Speaking post-match, Jurgen Klopp said: “Not good, but I cannot say more. He was outside with the families and had his little girl on his shoulders, so he could walk so that’s obviously a good sign. All the rest we will see from tomorrow.”
The injury hands the Reds boss a possible dilemma heading into Saturday’s game at the Stade de France. Should Thiago be unable to feature then Klopp will have to turn to another of his midfielders.
Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita will no doubt be in there from the start, and Fabinho is fit, he could become the third member of Liverpool’s midfield. However, Curtis Jones, James Milner and Harvey Elliott are also options. As is Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, although his lack of game time in recent months means, his best hope could be a place on the bench.
