Who's on the Standard's Fashion 100 power list? The Standard podcast

We’ve seen some wild moments in the world of fashion throughout 2023.

Among the most memorable is Doja Cat’s bold ‘Doja’s Inferno’ look at Paris Haute Couture Week in January, where she wore red quite literally from head to toe, in part thanks to 30,000 crimson Swarovski crystals covering her body and bald head.

This year we have also seen Rhianna’s all-red Superbowl look which she used to announce her second baby with A$AP Rocky, Margot Robbie's many Barbie outfits throughout the summer, and more recently the release of Kim Kardashians ‘always cold’ faux nipple bra.

Ahead of the 2023 Fashion Awards on Monday night, The Standard has put together the Fashion Power 100 list, highlighting the top celebrities, designers and characters making a splash in the world of looking good.

And their influence is most definitely powerful; the fashion industry itself is worth around £1.2 trillion and is estimated to employ around 430 million people globally.

In this episode of The Standard podcast, our fashion editor Victoria Moss discusses the criteria for making it onto this year’s list, including factors such as revenue, followers, and good old fashioned clout, and she also reveals some of the key names who have made it.

Victoria also discusses the fashion trends which have emerged this year, where they have come from, and who is set to make a name for themselves in the industry in 2024.
