Boy George is the fourth star to be voted out of the 2022 series, after Charlene White was sent home first on Saturday.

Scarlette Douglas followed her out of the jungle on Sunday, before Sue Cleaver, best-known for playing Eileen Grimshaw in Coronation Street was third to go on Monday night. Olivia Attwood also left with a shock exit just a day after the new series started.

Before Boy George's eviction, the celebrities did karaoke in the Jungle Arms, with Jill Scott singing where is the love? by the Black Eyed Peas and Matt Hancock singing Queen's I want to break free, while the whole group joined in with Culture Club's 1983 hit Karma Chameleon.

On his departure, the singer told Ant and Dec: "I've had an amazing time, I've done a lot of things I thought I'd never do. I'm sort of excited to see my sister".

He added: "I had to forget who I was the whole time I was in here, I had to let it go, it was quite interesting to be like I'm in the jungle... I'm so looking forward to being back in control."

The current favourite to win is Owen Warner followed by Jill Scott. Matt Hancock resides in fourth place to win the ITV series which has returned to Australia for the first time since 2019.
