It’s time for one of the most unique events on the golf calendar.
The full field for the 2022 PNC Championship was set Friday, and it’s loaded with big names from the past and current men’s and women’s stars.
The inaugural PNC Championship began in 1995, and it featured 10 men’s major winners with their sons. Since then, the field has grown to include 20 professional golfers playing with a family member in a 36-hole scramble at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida.
To qualify for the PNC Championship, players must have won a major championship or The Players. Their partner must not hold a PGA or LPGA card.
Here’s a look at the field for the 2022 PNC Championship.
Stewart Cink and Connor CInk
Stewart and his son, Connor, won the event in 2013.
John Daly and John Daly II
John Daly and his son, John II, won the event last year. John II plays golf at Arkansas.
David Duval and Brady Duval
David Duval has won before with step-son Nick Karavites. Now he’ll go for another title with his son, Brady.
Nick Faldo and Matthew Faldo
The Faldos have played in the PNC Championship before but will be going for their first win.
Jim Furyk and Tanner Furyk
Another pair who have played the PNC Championship before, Furyk and son Tanner will be going for victory No. 1.
Padraig Harrington and Patrick Harrington
Padraig Harrington is coming off a great season on the PGA Tour Champions, and he and son Patrick will look to continue that strong play.
Nelly Korda and Petr Korda
Nelly Korda, the current women’s World No. 1, and her father, Petr, will play in the event for the second straight year.
Matt Kuchar and Carson Kuchar
Matt Kuchar and son Carson are hoping to hear numerous “Kuuuuuuuuuuch” chants over the weekend after finishing seventh last year.
Bernhard Langer and Jason Langer
Langer has won this event four times, including in 2019 and 2014 with Jason. A fifth win would tie Raymond Floyd for the most in event history.
Tom Lehman and Sean Lehman
Team Lehman finished tied for fifth last year, so they’ll be looking to move up the leaderboard.
Justin Leonard and Luke Leonard
Justin Leonard has played with his father before, but 16-year-old son Luke is making his first appearance at the PNC Championship.
Mark O'Meara and Sean O'Meara
Team O’Meara finished tied for eighth last year.
Gary Player and Jordan Player
Gary Player may drop and do some push-ups. Whatever antics he’s up to, Player will be going for his first win.
Nick Price and Greg Price
Nick Price and Greg Price will play for the eighth time together in search of their first win.
Vijah Singh and Qass Singh
Team Singh finished T-5 last year, so it shouldn’t be a surprise to see Vijay and Qass play well.
Annika Sorenstam and Will McGee
Annika Sorenstam has played with her father before, but this year 11-year-old son Will joins as they look for their first win.
Jordan Spieth and Shawn Spieth
Three-time major champion Jordan Spieth and his father, Shawn, are making their first appearance.
Justin Thomas and Mike Thomas
Justin Thomas and father, Mike, won this event in 2020 and should be a favorite to record another victory.
Lee Trevino and Daniel Trevino
Lee Trevino has played in every edition of the PNC Championship, continuing on an excellent streak. He and Daniel will look for their first win.
Tiger Woods and Charlie Woods
Last but not least, Tiger Woods and his son, Charlie, will make their third appearance in the PNC Championship. They finished runner-up last year.
