The dust has barely settled on a gruelling campaign at Rangers but in the blink of an eye they'll be back to do it all over again.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst will recall his players in just a few weeks’ time with a pre-season trip to Portugal on the cards.
And that preparation will be largely geared toward another crack at Champions League qualifying.
Rangers fell short last year, losing out to Malmo in what now, in one sense, looks like a huge missed opportunity given what they went on to achieve in the Europa League.
But that run to the Seville Final, despite the eventual disappointment, will fuel confidence that this year the Ibrox club can finally retake a seat at the Continent's top table.
As Premiership runners-up last season, they will enter the non-champions path at the third round, with the ties set for August 2/3 and August 9.
Three of the four potential opponents they could draw are already set in stone following the conclusion of domestic leagues across Europe.
Thanks to their improved coefficient, Rangers will be seeded and avoid the likes of Benfica and PSV Eindhoven.
That means they could be paired with Monaco, Sturm Graz, Union Saint-Gilloise and an as yet undecided third side.
Based on coefficient points, the odds suggest it could be Midtjylland who, alongside Dinamo Kiev, will play either Fenerbahce or AEK Larnaca in round two.
Worth noting here is if Kyiv fall at round two it would push Monaco into seeded status for round three, meaning Rangers would avoid the Ligue 1 club.
Should Rangers progress to the play-off round they will remain as seeds, again thanks to their coefficient, with ties being played on August 16/17 and August 23/24.
Van Bronckhorst's side can be assured they would not need to play Euro heavyweights Benfica regardless of how the other ties play out.
Looking at which sides could remain in the mix, however, PSV emerge as likely opponents, as do Dinamo Kyiv.
Of course, these permutations for the play-off remain highly speculative at this point, as Rangers clearly cannot take the third round for granted, nor should it be ruled out that a wild card from the earlier rounds blazing a trail and knocking out top seeds on their way.
But what's clear is there are no teams Rangers' qualifying path that they would not fancy their chances of defeating.
Having shown they can topple Bundesliga big hitters such as RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund, the club are set to enter the qualifiers with belief and pedigree at an all-time high.
Should they come up short again, however, there's the consolation prize of an automatic Europa League group stage place to soften the blow.
