The popular BBC serial killer series Killing Eve has returned for season 4. Killing Eve has proved successful since it began in 2018 as the recurring series has won and been nominated for Emmy Awards, BAFTA, Golden Globe Awards and more!
The character Konstantin has played a key role in Killing Eve from the beginning as he is the main character and serial killer employed by The Twelve, and Villanelle’s (Jodie Comer) former handler.
In season 3 of Killing Eve, there was a plot twist near the finale as viewers thought Konstantin may have died after having a heart attack. However, it was clear that Konstantin did in fact survive this and therefore is continuing his role in the popular BBC show in this new season 4.

New episodes of the new season of Killing Eve are be released on BBC iPlayer every Monday, with the first episode having been released on Monday 28th February.
Who plays Konstantin in Killing Eve?
Kim Bodnia is the actor who plays Konstantin in Killing Eve. Fans will know that Konstantin has been in Killing Eve since season one.
In the early seasons of Killing Eve, Konstantin and Villanelle seemed to have an emotional father-daughter bond. In Killing Eve, Konstantin acts as a major antagonist in the series.
However, fans will know from the previous series that he does have a soft spot for his family. Previous seasons introduced viewers to Konstantin’s daughter, who also happened to meet Villanelle.
When Konstantin managed Villanelle while they worked together, the relationship was somewhat strained as he did not always know who she was going to kill. She would sometimes just tell him that she has to.
When managing Villanelle, he was sometimes at in a fight with her ego. However, he is also the only one to not be powerless to her charms - he knows her all too well for that.
