Love Island 2023 kicked off with the summer series on Monday, June 5 and there's been plenty of recouplings, bombshells, and of course, dumpings.
Those in the original line-up were film and music video extra Ella Thomas, semi-professional footballer Tyrique Hyde and Molly Marsh, whose famous mum is known for her roles on Coronation Street. As well as André Furtado, Jess Harding, Mitchel Taylor, Mehdi Edno, Catherine Agbaje, George Fensom, and Ruchee Gurung.
Meanwhile, Zachariah Noble was the first bombshell on launch night, with Whitney Adebayo joining the villa shortly after. Other late additions included Sammy Root, Leah Taylor, and Charlotte Sumner.

The first Islander to be dumped from the 2023 series was 24-year-old George Fensom. The contestant left the show after failing to find a match with any of the single girls. We'll keep this article updated as the dumpings happen.
Who left Love Island 2023?
Elom Ahlijah-Wilson and Catherine Agbaje - seventh out
Elom Ahlijah-Wilson and Catherine Agbaje were dumped immediately after receiving a text confirming the public had been voting for the least compatible couple.
It read: "The couple with the fewest votes is Catherine and Elom. Catherine and Elom you've been dumped from the Island please say your goodbyes and leave the villa."
They are set to be followed by another couple after three more couples received the fewest votes, they were Leah Taylor and Montel McKenzie, Kady McDermott and Ouzy See, and Jess Harding and Sammy Root.
Casa Amor dumpings - sixth out
Kodie Murphy
Zachary Ashford
Ben Noel
Gabby Jeffery
Tink Reading
Danielle Mazhindu
Mal Nicol and Mehdi Edno - fifth out
New bombshell Mal and original Islander Mehdi were axed after viewers were tasked with voting for their favourite boys and girls. The results led to Mal and Mehdi being voted off, leaving Sammy Root and Whitney Adebayo single.
Maya Jama did not return for the proceedings, with the pair finding out they were going home via a series of texts. As Mal's exit was announced she admitted she was fine as she said goodbye to her current partner Sammy. Mehdi's exit, however, came as a huge shock to the group as he'd been there since day one, and had been in a pairing with Whitney for weeks.
Molly Marsh - fourth out but returned for Casa Amor
The Love Island original was dumped from the villa in a brutal move from ITV bosses. The contestant had been getting to know Zachariah Noble and things had been going well, however, that all changed with the arrival of season two bombshell, Kady McDermott.
Kady decided to recouple with Zach, leaving Molly single. However, just seconds later the Islander received a text dumping her from the villa immediately.
In a shock move, however, Molly rejoined the Love Island line-up in the form of a Casa Amor bombshell and recoupled with Zach.
Charlotte Sumner and André Furtado - third out
A shock double dumping saw new bombshell Charlotte and original Islander André dumped from the villa on Friday, June 16.
Ahead of the dumping, the power was put into the public's hands as they were asked to vote for their favourite couple. Andre, Zach and Sammy were the three boys with the fewest votes while the bottom three girls were Charlotte, Leah and Catherine.
However, in a shock twist, it was the Islanders who were safe who had the final say on who stayed and who left.
Ruchee Gurung - second out
Ruchee was second to be dumped from the villa after a recoupling with a twist. The recoupling saw the boys pick which girl they wanted to be with, but not before new bombshells Leah Taylor and Charlotte Sumner got the first pick.
The recoupling saw Ella Thomas and Ruchee, who was left single after André Furtado decided to instead couple up with Catherine Agbaje, vulnerable, with their fate in the hands of their fellow Islanders.
After much deliberation, the villa decided to save Ella due to her strong connection with Tyrique Hyde, which sent Ruchee packing.
George Fensom - first out
George was the first to be booted out of the villa. He said of his exit: "I've had an absolute blast, dropping loose game and making everyone laugh. The experiences I've had, the people I've met and the lifelong friendships that I've formed have made my villa experience very worthwhile. I wish everyone in there the best villa experience and I can’t wait to see them all on the outside." For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
