Who is Shelley Lewis? Jeffrey Epstein’s British ex-girlfriend who discussed having a baby with the convicted paedophile

Shelley Lewis, a British woman who dated Jeffrey Epstein, is back in the public eye after the latest release of Epstein files included discussions about them having a baby.

The children’s book publisher and wellness entrepreneur from Manchester appeared to share a close relationship with the convicted sex offender, and remained in contact until at least 2018.

Some of their earlier conversations include a message from Lewis: “I just gave you a great gift by enabling you to ‘do what you do’ gracefully.”

At another point, Lewis wrote: “lets meet i want to talk to you... don't worry, won't put you on the spot about a baby,” and in another exchange said “Love you!!!”

The entrepreneur has also raised eyebrows for sending an email to Epstein that included a link to a story about the descendants of Africans, writing, “where to find new help.”

She also appeared on flight logs, including visits to Epstein’s private island, Little St James.

There is, however, no indication that Shelley was aware of any criminal behaviour associated with Epstein.

Who is Shelley Lewis?

According to an email exchange between Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, the disgraced late financier dated Lewis from 1999 to 2002.

“I would appreciate it if shelley would come out and say she was your g'friend - I think she was from end 99 to 2002,” Maxwell wrote, to which Epstein said, “ok, with me.”

Later, emails would suggest there were tensions between the two, with Lewis writing in one email: “i misperceived my value in your life, and bent to your line of thought i spent too long honoring relationship/s that didn't serve me or had expired.”

According to Tatler, Lewis is the daughter of a billionaire and grew up in Cheshire before moving to London.

Her website says she offers consulting and spiritual services, while on her Instagram, she identifies as a “Doyenne of Inner Calm. Founder. Investor.”

A bio on her website reveals she grew up in the British countryside, moved to New York in her twenties, developed an interest in humanitarian topics, deepened her spirituality through an encounter with Sufism, and is now developing something call the ‘Soul Advice Fund’.

She also launched a publishing company, ‘Chocolate Sauce’, in 2003, which published children’s books of ‘wisdom and kindness’.

On her website, she says her interests include “working in the Holy Land” and helping “bridge the cultural divide and support the positive healing of orphaned children.”

Her LinkedIn now identifies her as the CEO and founder of a company in Abu Dhabi that is “harnessing the power of technology to inspire tranquility.”

The Standard has approached Ms Lewis for comment.
