I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! is back down under. Ant and Dec are once again getting ready to welcome a whole host of celebrities to the Australian jungle for the hit ITV competition show.
One of this year’s contestants is TV presenter Scarlette Douglas, who is best known for hosting A Place in the Sun.
She will be joining a range of celebrities, including footballer Jill Scott, royal family member Mike Tindall and even MP Matt Hancock.
But for those unfamiliar with her work, who is Scarlette Douglas?
Who is Scarlette Douglas?
Scarlette Douglas is a TV presenter and property expert.
A former presenter of A Place in the Sun, Douglas is also known for presenting Worst House on the Street, George Clarke’s Flipping Fast, and Dream Derelict Home in the Sun.
Douglas has a brother, Stuart, who is also a property developer, and together they run a company called Kindred Elite and present Worst House on the Street.
Once in Australia, Ant and Dec won’t be strangers to Douglas: she’s appeared on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway TV show.
TV fans may also recognise her from her appearances on Stars in Your Eyes, A League of Their Own, The Paul O’Grady Show, Children in Need, The Alan Titchmarsh Show and Dancing on Ice.
Douglas hopes that by appearing on I’m a Celebrity she can prove people wrong, and said: “If I were crowned Queen of the jungle, it would be such a big moment for me."
Everyone knows that heading into the jungle isn’t without its challenges, and Douglas candidly shared what she’s fearful of.
As well as worrying about missing her family, Douglas said: “I am dreading any trial involving spiders and I am also dreading the food trial.
“It’s going to be hard too not being able to bring my seasoning into camp but I want to prove to everyone I can smash it.”
