Sarinasadat Hosseiny, the 25-year-old relative of slain Iranian general Qasem Soleimani, has come under scrutiny following her arrest by US immigration authorities in Los Angeles.

Hosseiny is the grandniece of Soleimani, the former commander of Iran’s Quds Force who was killed in a US drone strike in 2020.
