American influencer Sam Jones has broken her silence and said she picked up a baby wombat in an infamous viral video “out of concern”.
The Montana native - who is sometimes known as Samantha Strable - last week released a video which showed her laughing as she removed the marsupial from a bush at night. The wombat squealed in fright as its mother gave chase. She later returned the joey to the bush.
