Who is performing for the Super Bowl halftime show?

The Super Bowl game between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks is set to take place on Sunday.

Even though millions of sports enthusiasts are undoubtedly excited for the upcoming match, others would rather watch the halftime performance.

We can’t blame them as the halftime shows have given viewers some incredible moments over the years, including Justin Timberlake accidentally ripping Janet Jackson’s top open on stage, and Destiny’s Child reuniting for a brief moment in 2013.

So, who will be performing at the Super Bowl half-time show this year?

Who is performing at the Super Bowl?

The headliner for the halftime show is the six-time Grammy winner Bad Bunny.

There will also be a number of other musicians performing, kicking off with a pre-game tailgate concert featuring Teddy Swims and LaRussell.

Next up, Green Day will perform at the opening ceremony.

Then four-time Grammy-nominated Charlie Puth will perform the national anthem. Fred Beam will perform the anthem in American Sign Language.

"America the Beautiful" will be performed by 11-time Grammy winner Brandi Carlile. Julian Ortiz will sign the song.

"Lift Every Voice and Sing," the Black national anthem, will be sung by one-time Grammy winner Coco Jones, a one-time Grammy winner. Beam will sign this song.

What happened at last year’s Super Bowl halftime show?

Last year, Kendrick Lamar delivered a high-energy performance at the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show, marking a historic moment as the first solo rapper to headline the event.

His performance featured a star-studded line-up, with guest appearances from SZA, Samuel L. Jackson, and Serena Williams.

Lamar performed a medley of his biggest hits, including HUMBLE., DNA., Euphoria, and All The Stars, before finally delivering Not Like Us, his Grammy-winning diss track aimed at Drake.

The show opened with Jackson, dressed as Uncle Sam, narrating an introduction before passing the spotlight to Lamar. Throughout the set, the rapper repeatedly teased Not Like Us, making playful jabs at Drake’s ongoing legal battle with Universal Music Group over the song’s promotion.

One of the night’s most discussed moments came when Williams—once romantically linked to Drake—joined Lamar onstage, performing a dance tied to Compton and Los Angeles culture.

Reactions to Lamar’s performance were extremely mixed on social media. Some praised it as “a masterpiece,” while others labelled it the “worst halftime show ever.”
