Olivia Attwood is the first Love Islander to embrace I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

The 31-year-old shared her interest in joining the jungle last year with RadioTimes.com and recently explained she isn’t as “high maintenance” as people might think.

“One of the things that will be nice will be to show a different side to me,” she said before entering the camp. “I think people think I am high maintenance and I will struggle without make-up and nails but I am not that bothered and I think that might surprise people. I am happy to muck in.”

The reality TV star will be joining a whole host of stars, including royal family member Mike Tindall and MP Matt Hancock, plus England Lioness Jill Scott and radio broadcaster Chris Moyles.

But who is Olivia Attwood?

Who is Olivia Attwood?

Olivia Attwood is a reality television personality and presenter best known for taking part in the 2017 season of Love Island, coming in third place with her then-boyfriend Chris Hughes.

They went on to star in their own reality spin-off show, Chris & Olivia: Crackin’ On, before splitting up in 2018. She also starred on Celebs Go Dating and ITV’s The Games.

Prior to Love Island, Attwood was a model and a motorsport grid girl.

Most recently, the Londoner began her own reality series called Olivia Meets Her Match, which followed her life up to getting engaged.

This year she released the docuseries Getting Filthy Rich, which navigated the world of adult content by covering topics such as OnlyFans and camgirls.

Attwood is engaged to footballer Bradley Dack. The pair got engaged in 2019 during a trip to Dubai, but had to postpone their wedding due to Covid-19.

The pair haven’t had an easy relationship and have broken up several times – most recently in April when Attwood confirmed their split on Instagram, only to reconnect with the footballer two days later.

She told ITV: “Being part of I’m A Celebrity still hasn’t sunk in yet and when I first got the call to take part, I didn’t really believe it! It felt surreal because taking part in the jungle is the absolute pinnacle,” she said.

“It’s the crème de la crème of all shows and obviously I didn’t have to think about it. I said yes immediately.”

On how she hopes to be perceived on the show, Attwood said: “It will also be nice to have a digital detox. I do a lot of social media and I spend a crazy amount of time on my phone. My phone causes me stress. We are all prisoners to our phones and so it will be so nice to have this time in life where you are digitally disconnected for three weeks.

“It’s going to be great to be completely immersed in the jungle environment and I am excited to see what I can do.”

I’m a Celebrity will air on ITV on Sunday, November 7, at 9 pm.
