Sienna Miller has revealed how she initially "wrote off" her relationship with actor Oli Green — after being put off by their age gap.
The Hollywood star, 41, is 28 weeks pregnant with their first child — a baby girl.
But in a tell-all interview, she has opened up for the first time about the apprehension she felt at coupling up with him.
The pair began dating in 2021 when they were introduced at a mutual friend’s Halloween party.
Miller told British Vogue: “I was like 'This is absurd, this will not go anywhere.' And then he worked hard to persuade me to go out for a drink with him.
“I don’t think you can legislate on matters of the heart. I certainly have never been able to."
Miller's close friend, Emily Blunt, also discussed the romance in the same interview, saying she could "see so much of” Miller in Green, “in that free-spirited, curious, guileless thing that he has”.
She added: “He’s the kind of guy you could just bring anywhere, and everyone would love him.”
Blunt also said her friend had been waiting for “the right person” to have another child with “and I really see that” in Green.
Miller already has a daughter named Marlowe, whom she welcomed with her ex Tom Sturridge in July 2012.

Green, who is reported to be 27, is an actor who has appeared in several TV shows and also worked as a model.
However, he is enormously private and does not share anything personal on his social media.
He is British born but has spent a lot of time over in America.
He is the son of Jonathan Green and his American-born wife, Alison Ross Green, so is well versed in spending time on both sides of the pond.
His grandad is famous art dealer and gallerist Richard Green, and his dad Jonathan is CEO of his father’s Mayfair-based gallery.
Oli Green’s mother, Alison, is also part of the art world and worked at Sotheby’s in New York, and is now a Trustee at Sir John Soane’s Museum.
Oli himself studied acting at the Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York. He has since appeared in episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful, The Mosquito Coast, Zach Braff’s film A Good Person and The Crown.
As a model, he has appeared in campaigns for Burberry, GAP and Urban Outfitters.

The pair are rumoured to have shared a kiss at their mutual friend's Halloween party in 2021.
They were seen leaving Royal Albert Hall together in London after the Baftas in February 2022. They made another public appearance together at Vanity Fair's Oscar Party in March 2022.
Since then, the couple have been spotted at several public events including Glastonbury, Wimbledon, and the French Open.
The pair have reportedly bought a flat in west London and are now settling in before the arrival of their daughter — who is due at the start of the new year.
