Boxing Day sees the long-awaited return of The Big Fat Quiz of the Year, hosted by Jimmy Carr. The annual Channel 4 favourite sees a group of famous faces go head to head, as they answer trivia questions about events and cultural moments from the past year.
This year the stars battling it out are Jonathan Ross, Katherine Ryan, Rose Matafeo, Stephen Merchant and Richard Ayoade. All will be competing in a bid to be crowned champions.

Who is Maisie Adam?
Renowned for her strong Northern accent and Mod-style haircut and fashion sense, 28-year-old Maisie Adam’s comedy career began in 2016. Having initially planned to write and act professionally, Maisie discovered a passion for comedy after performing at Ilkley Literature Festival. This, in turn, would ultimately lead to her winning the chance to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in the same year.
2016 proved to be a busy year for Maisie, who would also make an appearance on ITV’s The Chase. There, she was eliminated by Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha in her head-to-head round with him. This wouldn’t be her first of many TV appearances in the years that followed.
Maisie has since appeared on episodes of 8 Out of 10 Cats, Mock the Week, QI, Have I Got News for You, Would I Lie To You?, Richard Osman's House of Games, Roast Battle, and The Last Leg.
