Love Island's Ron Hall is part of the 2023 line-up for the winter edition of the popular dating programme. Ron, who says he'll bring fun and charisma to the villa, wants to "have good times and make memories" while on the show.
Asked how his family and friends would describe him, Ron added: "My mum and dad would say that I am a very funny, charismatic but genuine person. I know that's a typical thing a parent would say about their son. But they know that I've got good morals. They know I'm a good person at heart. I'm not rude, I'm polite, I was brought up properly, a well-raised person. My friends would say it's very noticeable when I'm not around. I'm a good person to be around and I always 'add'. I'm added value."
Ron will be the show’s first ever partially sighted contestant. He said: "On meeting me, you’d never know I am blind in one eye. It was the result of a football injury when I was 8; I went in for a header and got kicked in the face.
