Who is Loren Allred on Britain's Got Talent? Greatest Showman star goes for glory in the final

Loren Alred had the Britain's Got Talent judges and audience on their feet as she sang Never Enough for The Greatest Showman, the film she features in, despite never being seen on screen. And, after her amazing audition she's made it all the way to Sunday's final.

At the start of 2018, Loren's voice was heard the world over as the Hugh Jackman movie topped the box office in countless countries. She is the vocalist on Never Enough, but hasn't received the recognition she rightly deserves because, anyone who' watched the film, will see actress Rebecca Ferguson performing the track, to Loren's vocals. Loren was the final act to appear on the first episode of Britain's Got Talent 2022, with the judges stunned she turned up to audition after finding out her incredible back story.

As she began singing Never Enough, after telling the judges she felt like it was 'her song,' the whole auditorium at the London Palladium were on their feet by the first chorus, with Amanda Holden then sending Loren straight through to the semi finals by hitting the Golden Buzzer.

Loren explained that her voice ended up being in The Greatest Showman, after she recorded 'guide' vocals for the actresses in the movie, so they could hear the songs and learn the words. While other stars in the film, like Michelle Williams, ended up recording their own versions, Loren told the BGT judges it was Rebecca who insisted that her vocals stay in.

Who is Loren Allred?

The 32-year-old is an American born singer and actress, who, as well as appearing on The Greatest Showman soundtrack, has appeared on Michael Buble's Love album and also performed and recorded with legendary composer producer David Foster. Loren has also shared a stage with opera icon Andrea Bocelli on his tour of the USA last year.

She has a number of tracks available online, with singles released in the last few years including This Summer, Perfect, Miss Myself and covers of Last Christmas and Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.

On returning to the Britain's Got Talent stage to perform in the semi finals, Loren sang Lauren Daigle's You Say and topped the public vote. She teased 'something big' for the final, which many people eluded to a reprise of Never Enough.
