A tearful Kirsty Coventry has spoken out on the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) decision to disqualify a Ukrainian athlete from competing at the Winter Games.
Vladyslav Heraskevych, 27, was banned from taking part in the skeleton after he stood firm on his decision to wear a banned helmet in tribute to Ukrainian athletes who have died during the war with Russia.
