Liverpool have signed Rennes’ young defender Jeremy Jacquet ahead of the summer, after hijacking Chelsea’s transfer talks.
The French youth international had previously been a transfer target for both Arsenal and the Blues, but it is Liverpol who have beaten both to the 20-year-old’s signature in what is believed to be a £60million deal.
