The popular Netflix series, Russian Doll, is now available to stream for a second season. The series is inspired by Groundhog Day and became popular after the release of its first season back in 2019.
The second season of Russian Doll hit Netflix on Wednesday (April 20) and is warmly welcomed by fans. The trailer for the second season of Russian Doll is also now available for fans to watch before they dive into watching the new season, as well as those who are interested in watching the series from season one.
For those who do not know, Russian Doll is a series that follows main character Nadia (played by Natasha Lyonne). Nadia keeps dying and reliving her 36th birthday.

Who is in the Russian Doll season 2 cast?
In the new season 2 of Russian Doll, Natasha Lyonne will reprise her role as Nadia again. Other returning cast members for this new season include Alan Zaveri who will play Barnett, Greta Lee who will continue to play Maxine, while Elizabeth Ashley will portray Ruth.
However, there are also new faces appearing for this season including Annie Murphy (Schitt’s Creek), Carolyn Michelle Smith (Reboot Camp), and Sharlto Copley (District 9).
Other characters appearing in the new season of Russian Doll include Chloë Sevigny (Nora), Rebecca Henderson (Lizzy) and Brendan Sexton III (Horse).

This season is particularly focused on being set four years after Nadia's fateful 36th birthday party when she was thrown into a Groundhog Day environment.
It is here where she died several times while trying to escape a time loop.
