Arsenal have been linked with a £7million move for Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka, who has previously been rumoured to join Tottenham.
The Gunners are thought to still be keen on signing a left-sided defender as they look to strengthen their centre-back options. Arsenal missed out on signing Lisandro Martinez during the summer transfer window after the Argentine defender opted to sign for Premier League rivals Manchester United instead.
William Saliba's return and impressive form to start the new campaign has eased defensive worries but the Gunners look to be set on adding more competition for the French defender and Gabriel Magalhaes. The Brazilian centre-back was linked with a move to Juventus but snubbed the Serie A giants in favour of remaining at the Emirates Stadium.
