The government has announced the exact dates when people will receive the £150 disability cost of living payment. From June 20, 2023 the money will start landing in bank accounts - but who exactly will get it.
A total of six million people are set to receive the help which is aimed at assisting the poorest people in our country as the nation has faced soaring inflation. Those being paid a disability benefit that qualifies them for the payment will receive it automatically during a two-week window starting on 20 June and finishing on 4 July.
The Department for Work and Pensions has today highlighted the eligibility criteria for the money which should go into people’s accounts automatically.
