Who is Chunkz in Soccer Aid 2022?

Chunkz will be returning to Soccer Aid for a third year in a row.

The entertainer, social media personality and rapper will be back on the pitch on Sunday night as the huge charity match returns. Now in its 11th year, Soccer Aid raises money for Unicef - this year, donations as a result of the game will focus on providing help for those dealing with the fallout from the war in Ukraine.

Chunkz, 26, is one of many familiar faces who will descend on London Stadium for the game, which airs live on ITV from 6.30pm. And while he may be an unfamiliar name to some he's not to his 3m Instagram followers.

Chunkz, whose real name is Amin Mohamed, is famed for his appearance as Asznee in the 2017 novelty song "Man's Not Hot,'' which quickly rocketed him to fame. He also regularly posts rap battle videos on his YouTube channel, as well as challenges, pranks, and videos in his popular #MANDM series.

In 2019, Chunkz became part of the collaborative group known as Beta Squad on YouTube alongside four fellow YouTubers including Niko Omilana.

Since his last Soccer Aid appearance, Chunkz has been living the dream. His YouTube channel now has over 2.29 million subscribers and 142 million video views and has previously taken the role of co-host of the Sky Sports Saturday morning show #SaturdaySocial.

He may also have picked up some football tips having regularly been hanging out with some of the country's top talent.

Following the announcement that Chunkz would be taking place in Soccer Aid once again, he said: "Pls god lemme just have a shot on target this year."

Soccer Aid for Unicef 2022 is taking place at the London Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford. The fixture has moved back to its summer date after taking place in September last year due to delays caused by the Covid pandemic.

Kick off is 7:30pm though the show starts a little earlier with plenty of build-up to the big match. Those who can't get to the match can watch it on ITV on Sunday, June 12, from 6.30pm.
