
Campaigner Alan Bates has weighed in after Chancellor Rachel Reeves confirmed her government’s commitment to compensating those impacted by the Post Office scandal in this week’s budget.
Reeves revealed that £1.8bn had been set aside in the budget for victims of the Post Office accounting scandal, with a further £11.8bn compensation for victims of the infected blood scandal.
