Egyptian democracy activist Alaa Abd El-Fattah has apologised for several historic tweets in which he appears to call for violence towards Zionists.

Granted UK citizenship in 2021, Mr Abd El-Fattah is facing calls for his deportation, or even for his citizenship to be revoked.
