Who has left ITV's I'm A Celebrity... South Africa? Full list of eliminated contestants

I'm A Celebrity is back with a special series made up of stars from series gone by. The new all-star spin-off sees former campmates return to give the show another punt in the new setting of South Africa.

Unlike the usual series, the South Africa season was pre-recorded, and as such means the public is unable to vote for their favourite celebrity. Instead, the stars are eliminated through survival trials or by anonymous votes in camp.

The launch episode saw an original line-up of nine celebrities enter the camp, they were Shaun Ryder, Helen Flanagan, Phil Tuffnell, Jordan Banjo, Carol Vorderman, Paul Burrell, Amir Khan, Janice Dickinson, and Fatima Whitbread. Late entries included Gillian McKeith, Georgia Toffolo, Myleene Klass, Andy Whyment, Joe Swash and Dean Gaffney.

All of the above will be hoping to avoid elimination and be crowned the first ever I'm A Celebrity Legend. Some in the camp have won I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! before, but will they make it to legend status? Here is everyone who has been dumped so far.

Myleene Klass - WINNER

Myleene was crowned the first ever I'm A Celebrity Legend. She said of her experience: "I've been in my element. I can’t believe what the jungle gave me first time and I’ve actually had the opportunity to relive it a second time round.

"It’s one of those things, it was so magical the first time you start thinking did I remember that as it was or have I recreated those memories? They say don’t go back to an ex and don’t go back to a reheated dinner. I thought to myself oh no, what if it’s not as good?

"And I’ve gone back into the bush and it’s been even bigger, more majestic, bigger trials. South Africa is vast. And it’s not been against any campmates, it’s been against the best of the best. It’s just been mind blowing. Everything was as magical, very tough – challenging both mentally and physically – and something that I’ve loved throwing myself into."

Jordan Banjo - RUNNER-UP

The Diversity star and radio DJ lost out to Myleene Klass in the final trial. Speaking about doing the show for a second time, he said: "It was a different level. I had such a better time. The first time everyone was lovely but I just don’t think I was quite ready for it.

"The first few days were a bit of a shock in Australia. Whereas this time I went in there just throwing myself head first into trials, challenges, whatever it was. I can’t lie, I had a wicked time. But it wasn’t all good. I had to eat penis or whatever it was! But overall, it was a great experience."

Asked if anyone had surprised him, Jordan said of winner Myleene: "Myleene. She is one tough cookie. Honestly, I couldn’t be prouder of her. I’d only known her a couple of weeks really but she smashed everything that came her way. She was beautiful inside and out. She helped me through loads of stuff, helped me through the trials. Hats off to her man."

Fatima Whitbread - THIRD PLACE

Fatima Whitbread (ITV)

After being saved by her former campmates at the start of the final show, Fatima's victory was short lived as she soon became the next celebrity eliminated from the show after losing in the Critter Countdown' trial. This trial saw her, Jordan and Myleene seated with a transparent sphere over their head and their hands and feet in a box that slowly became filled with - you guessed it - critters. To earn their spot in the top two, they had to press a buzzer when they thought six minutes had gone by. Sadly, Fatima was furthest from this time stamp and said farewell.

Speaking about coming third, Fatima said: "That’s a bit of a downer really because I felt like I could have gone on to a fantastic final. All credit due to Myleene and of course Jordan. I’ve still got that tiny little bit of competitive Whitbread in me."

Phil Tufnell - tenth out

After the former cast of 2023 returned to the South African camp to reunite with their fellow celebrities, it was their choice to make the final four into a three - a tough choice. After completing the fan favourite - the celebrity cyclone, which aired on Thursday, May 11 - the four semi-finalists who'd made it to the penultimate episode stood in front of their campmates as Paul Burrell revealed firstly Jordan Banjo then Fatima Whitbread and finally Myleene Klass were saved.

Speaking to the show's hosts, Ant and Dec, who have been presenting the original show, I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in Australia (and two years in Wales amid the pandemic) for over twenty years, Phil explained: "The final thing. I couldn't get over it!

Carol Vorderman and Paul Burrell - eighth and ninth out

I'm A Celebrity South Africa has said goodbye to Carol Vorderman. The Countdown star was evicted from the camp alongside royal butler Paul Burrell in the latest survival trial.

The trial was called Vile Vineyard, with presenters Ant and Dec telling the campmates the slowest contestants would be getting the chop from the competition.

Helen Flanagan and Dean Gaffney - sixth and seventh out

With just two days left until the final, Helen and Dean were brutally given the boot. The soap stars came last in the latest survival challenge that saw all all of the remaining campmates forced to battle it out to stay on the ITV show.

In the task, each celebrity was locked in a crate filled with critters. They had to untangle a key from a series of cords, and unlock the padlock that was keeping them trapped inside of the crate before ringing a bell. The campmates were told the last two contestants left in their crates would be leaving camp for good.

As Helen and Dean were the last remaining, they automatically lost their places and were sent home for good, leaving just six campmates left in South Africa.

Joe Swash - fifth out

The duo took on the Temple of Doom but ultimately it was Joe who was set packing. Upon his exit the soap star said he was "too old for this game" and "over it" compared to his first stint on the show, which saw him win back in 2008.

Janice Dickinson - quit

The supermodel was forced to leave camp after an injury. Ant and Dec explained to viewers during the episode that aired on Monday, May 8: "Sadly Janice had to leave camp during the night as she had a fall and was unable to return."

The presenters then confirmed she was doing fine and revealed she'd sent a letter to her campmates to bid them farewell.

A Bush Bulletin arrived then arrived as Helen Flanagan read out the message from Janice.

It began: "My beloved campmates, never have I ever had such an extraordinary experience with you animals. You are the new BFFs, loves of my lives and I’ll miss you until I get to see you again.

"Kisses to all of you. I love you and miss you. Love Janice. PS Joe, I’m still p***ed at you and I’ll never get over it. All the love." You can read more on her exit here.

Andy Whyment and Georgia Toffolo - fourth and fifth out

Andy and Georgia were eliminated after going head-to-head in a gold mine trial with Jordan Banjo and Myleene Klass, with the winners earning a luxury picnic, while the losing pair were sent home.

"It's been glorious!" Toff, who won the show in 2017, told Ant and Dec. "It has just been amazing. Doing it twice has been really immense."

"Thanks for having me back!" Andy added before the pair were booted off.

Amir Khan - third out

The boxer was third to leave the all-star competition. It came after the camp was told they would have to make the brutal decision to evict one of their fellow celebrities in an anonymous vote.

The celebrities were tasked with anonymously writing down the name of the contestant they were voting to boot from the jungle, with Amir getting the boot.

Gillian McKeith and Shaun Ryder - first and second out

After being booted to the back-to-basics Savannah Scrub camp by Toff, Shaun was then at risk of being dumped. He had to team up with another celebrity from the main camp to help him in a survival trial and despite their previous differences, he chose Gillian.

Unfortunately, Gillian could not bring herself to put her hand in even the first box full of creepy crawlies during their trial meaning they lost to the two other pairings - Georgia Toffolo and Phil Tuffnell and Andy Whyment and Jordan Banjo.

Speaking after the show Gillian said her and Shuan's relationship had "come full circle". She said: "We hit it off. We’ve come full circle. And it shows you, you can go full circle with a relationship and it doesn’t need to be stuck in the past. It’s a life lesson for everybody."
