Graham Potter's access to a select group of Chelsea players over the international break may well help him going into the first Premier League match of his tenure at Stamford Bridge.
The new manager was left with only a handful of first team stars to work with throughout the week and will be hoping that the week off he allowed them has paid off plus the additional time early this week in training whilst teammates are on international duty.
Included in this are Edouard Mendy, who is returning from injury, N'Golo Kante likewise, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Trevoh Chalobah.

Potter was without the first two for his only match in charge so far against RB Salzburg and they are likely to be important additions should either one be ready to face Crystal Palace on Saturday. Chalobah, who was stranded towards the end of Thomas Tuchel's time at the club, has more of a battle to gain a first team spot.
On top of not being first a first choice centre-back for much of last season he has seen Wesley Fofana and Marc Cucurella both join the backline alongside Kalidou Koulibaly whilst Cesar Azpilicueta looks like he will remain a key senior figure after extending his stay at Stamford Bridge.
This will be a frustration for the 23-year-old who has had to fight for each and every one of his appearances so far and, according to the Athletic, is still set to miss out in Potter's first league match in charge; this is despite playing a new role in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Brighton last week.
The startling thing about Chalobah is that he is still yet to lose a game he has played in. In the league matches he has started Chelsea have won 14, drawing four. In the Champions League, a tournament he has only played three times in, he won the two he started and ended up on the losing side as a late substitute against Juventus. In total, of the 25 games he started he hasn't lost one inside 120 minutes - only losing to Liverpool on penalties twice having not conceded for 240 minutes.
It is also ironic that this weekend should be against Palace, the team he made his debut against and solidified and early role for himself against. If Potter needs some assurances as to his quality then his undoubted and statistically unbeatable record is part of many reasons for the Englishman to be given a go.
Under Potter and especially in the month coming up he will be needed, and like the 25 times before now, expect Chalobah to make it hard for his opponents to beat.
