Who are The Apprentice 2022 finalists and what are their business ideas?

The Apprentice final airs tonight after Lord Sugar's prospective business partners faced a gruelling in the boardroom. The 16 candidates are down to two finalists who have fought for their spot in a number of challenges.

Last week saw the series’ first ever all-female semi-finalists get ridiculed for their business plans. Claude Littner who has appeared as an aide to Lord Sugar since 2015 returned for the infamous interviews episode - after missing out on this season following a bike accident.

During the interviews episode it was discovered that Harpreet Kaur shares her business with her sister, Kathryn Louise Burn’s designs aren’t original, Littner terminated Brittany Carter’s interview due to missing information in her business plan and Stephanie Affleck only sold 50 garments with no promising authenticator.

Who are The Apprentice 2022 finalists?

Harpreet Kaur

Kaur has proven she means business in the past weeks but Lord Sugar and his aides were thrown off by the fact she shares her coffee and cakes business with her sister. Kaur claimed she’s had the talk with her sister and there would be no problem but it’s easy to see why Lord Sugar had doubts.

Nevertheless her business plan and work ethic impressed Lord Sugar and was selected for the final. The 30-year-old grew up in Birmingham and holds a first-class degree. She was managing a bank by the age of 22.

Kathryn Louise Burn

Burn is another strong candidate who’s proved she deserves a spot in the final. From volunteering as project manager from the first week Burn has had her ups and downs but on the surface she’s earned Lord Sugar’s respect.

Burn remarked the interview episode was “savage” and it got worse for the 29-year-old when Lauttner bought her online pyjama company’s website but in the end gifted it to her.

From Swindon, Burn previously worked a range of jobs from mortgage advisor to events manager. She describes herself as ambitious, kind and often “savage”.

What are their business ideas?

Kaur would like to expand her coffee and cakes business Barni’s Desserts with Lord Sugar’s 250k investment. The business started in a shipping centre but is now a standalone restaurant in Huddersfield.

Still in with a chance to win Burn wants to grow her online pyjama company My Everyday Pyjamas and My Christmas Pyjamas. Burn launched her business from her parents’ spare room and believes her pyjamas will be “worn by everyone” with the help of Lord Sugar.
