People in the Beeston Rylands have spoken out about youths ‘whizzing’ on off-road motorbikes on the pavements. It comes following the Beeston neighbourhood and specials policing team responding to reports of off-road motorbikes being ridden in an anti-social way.
Local residents told Nottinghamshire Live that it seems to be an issue on East Crescent, Beech Avenue and Meadow Road. They say it has been happening over the past two or three weeks and is usually at night.
Trevor Culshaw, a local resident, told Nottinghamshire Live that he has seen the youths whizzing past him. Mr Culshaw: “I’ve seen it the past couple of nights. No helmets, no lights, just racing each other - kids are kids. I’m concerned about it. It’s loud and noisy.
