
Police are appealing for information after a woman in her 20s was raped in a park in east London.
Officers were called to Pollard Square Gardens in Bethnal Green on Friday morning following reports that a woman in her 20s had been raped.
No arrests have been made and enquiries remain ongoing.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Police were called at 06.35hrs on Friday, 5 December, after reports that a woman in her 20s had been raped at Pollard Square Gardens, Whitechapel.
“No arrests have been made. Enquiries are ongoing and the woman is being supported by specialist officers.
“If you have any information that could help police, please call 101 quoting CAD 1331/5Dec.”
It comes days after another woman was raped in a 150-year-old park near Whitehall.
The victim, also in her 20s, reported she had been attacked in Victoria Embankment Gardens, Westminster, at around 4am on Tuesday.
