White women elected officials, celebrities, and activists came together on Thursday to show their support and raise funds for Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign. The event, titled 'White Women: Answer the Call 2024,' was organized by Women for Harris, led by Elizabeth Minnella. This initiative was inspired by the successful 'Win With Black Women' Zoom call, which saw an impressive turnout of thousands of Black women rallying behind Harris.
Elizabeth Minnella highlighted the incredible response from Black women, with 44,000 organizing a call within just eight hours of Vice President Harris announcing her candidacy. The momentum from this support prompted the 'White Women: Answer the Call 2024' fundraising effort.
