White supremacist sentenced to read Pride and Prejudice now jailed after appeal

A white supremacist student told to read classic literature after his terrorism conviction has been jailed following an appeal.

Ben John, a 22-year-old former student, gave no external reaction as Lord Justice Holroyde quashed the original sentence, finding it was unlawful.

Lord Justice Holroyde said: "We are satisfied that there must be a sentence of immediate imprisonment."
